A trio of new-music virtuosos convenes to explore music by two of Finland’s most influential musical minds. Cellist Anssi Karttunen has long enjoyed collaborations with composers Kaija Saariaho and Magnus Lindberg, who have each written demanding works specially for him. Here he is joined by two gifted partners, pianist Nicolas Hodges and violinist Jennifer Koh, for a program that also includes Ravel’s marvelous Piano Trio.
