Grants for the Arts’ Grantee Meeting: Call and Response

Grants for the Arts’ Annual Fall Community Meeting is a free, invite-only event where current grantees will learn about the results of the recent needs assessment the agency undertook to better serve its constituents, in addition to the impact of Prop E.

Since its inception in 1961, Grants for the Arts (GFTA) has distributed over $320 million to hundreds of nonprofit cultural organizations in San Francisco. In FY 18 nearly $10.9M was shared by 213 cultural groups and arts activities. This economic investment in diverse arts and cultural organizations enhances our City’s attractiveness to visitors, and provides employment and enrichment to residents.
